Children arriving at school
As children make their way to school with eager hearts and curious minds, they remind us of our own school days. Perhaps you remember walking to school with friends, carrying a heavy school bag, greeting familiar teachers, or learning lessons that have stayed with you throughout life. Those memories are more than moments from the past—they are quiet reminders of God’s goodness.
Looking back, we can see how richly God has blessed us. Through loving parents, dedicated teachers, wise mentors, and faithful friends, He patiently shaped our character and guided our steps. Some lessons came from books, while others came through life’s joys and challenges. In His wisdom, God used each experience to help us grow, preparing us for the person He was calling us to become.
As we journey through each new day, may we remain humble and teachable, remembering that true wisdom begins with God. The One who has faithfully guided us through the lessons of yesterday continues to lead us today, helping us grow in wisdom, grace, and love.

Bible Verse:
The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom.
The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs 9:10 WEB
Blessings:
God has blessed us by placing people in our lives who patiently taught, corrected, encouraged, and loved us. Through them, He has been quietly growing us in wisdom all along.
Reflection Point:
God often grows our wisdom through the people He places in our lives and the experiences He allows us to walk through. Looking back helps us recognise His patient guidance and faithful care.
Reflection Question:
Who has God used to teach, encourage, or shape my life? How can I express gratitude for their influence, and in what way can I help someone else grow in wisdom today?
Action to Consider for this week:
Take time to thank someone who has made a positive difference in your life—a parent, teacher, mentor, pastor, or friend. Then look for an opportunity to encourage, teach, or patiently guide someone who is still learning.
