Long queue
For many of us, waiting patiently in a long queue at a favourite food stall was simply part of the experience. We knew the delicious meal at the end would be worth the wait. Somehow, when we are looking forward to something we enjoy, waiting doesn’t seem so difficult.
Looking back, we can see that God has blessed us in countless ways through seasons of waiting. He has patiently walked with us through delays, disappointments, and unanswered questions, never leaving our side. His timing has often proved wiser than our own, and many of His greatest blessings came not only in the answers we received, but also in the quiet work He was doing within us while we waited. Above all, we have been blessed by His unfailing patience toward us—His constant love, mercy, and faithfulness, even when we have been impatient with Him or with others.
As we begin this new day, may we remember that patience is more than waiting for the things we enjoy. It is trusting God when life moves more slowly than we would like and extending to others the same patience, grace, and love that He so generously extends to us.

Bible Verse:
with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love;
Ephesians 4:2 WEB
Short prayer or thanksgiving example:
God blesses our patience by using every season of waiting to deepen our faith, shape our character, and prepare us for His perfect timing. What seems like a delay to us is often God’s loving work within us.
Reflection Point:
God’s patient love has shaped our lives in ways we often recognise only when we look back. As we remember His patience with us, we are invited to show that same patience to others.
Reflection Question:
When have I experienced God’s patient love during a season of waiting? Is there someone in my life today who needs the patience, understanding, or grace that God has so freely shown me?
Action to Consider for this week:
Choose one situation this week where you would normally become impatient. Instead of reacting quickly, pause to pray, respond with kindness, and extend grace to the person before you. Let your patience become a quiet reflection of God’s love.
