A man and his tricycle
A man sits quietly on his tricycle, resting by the roadside as he waits for the next pickup. For a few moments, the world around him seems to slow down. His work is not finished, yet he feels no need to hurry. He simply waits—catching his breath, gathering his strength, and trusting that another opportunity will come. It is a familiar scene that brings back memories of simpler days, when honest work, patient endurance, and quiet contentment were woven into the fabric of everyday life.
Our walk with God often includes seasons like this. We find ourselves waiting between one assignment and the next, uncertain of what lies ahead. Yet these pauses are never wasted. In the stillness, the Lord renews our strength, deepens our trust, and gently reminds us that our value is not measured by constant activity, but by our faithful walk with Him. Even when little seems to be happening, God is working in ways we cannot yet see.
Take a moment today to remember God’s faithfulness through your own seasons of waiting. Think of the times He provided when you had just enough, opened doors you never expected, or gave you peace while you waited for His answer. Looking back, you may realise that some of His greatest work was accomplished not during the busiest chapters of your life, but in the quiet moments when He was shaping your heart, strengthening your faith, and preparing you for what was to come.

Bible Verse:
A man’s steps are established by Yahweh.
He delights in his way.
