Jesus Appears to His Disciples Story

Thomas was not with the disciples when Jesus first appeared to them. When they told him, “We have seen the Lord,” he replied, “Unless I see the nail marks in His hands and touch His side, I will not believe.”

Eight days later, Jesus appeared again while Thomas was with them. He said, “Peace be with you.” Then He invited Thomas to see and touch His wounds. Thomas answered, “My Lord and my God!”

Jesus said, “You believe because you have seen Me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.”

Later, Peter and several disciples went fishing on the Sea of Galilee. They fished all night but caught nothing. At dawn, Jesus stood on the shore and told them to cast their net on the right side of the boat. When they did, they caught so many fish that they could hardly pull in the net.

John recognized Him and said, “It is the Lord!” Peter immediately jumped into the water and swam to shore.

There they found Jesus waiting with bread and fish prepared over a fire. After breakfast, Jesus asked Peter three times, “Do you love Me?” Each time Peter answered, “Yes, Lord, You know that I love You.”

Jesus replied, “Feed My lambs. Take care of My sheep.”

Then Jesus told Peter that one day he would glorify God through his death. Finally, He said to him, “Follow Me.”
